Dr. Katalina Yandell graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry & Psychology and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University of Health Sciences. She is regularly invited to several Optometric Conferences and discussion groups to educate others on practice management and clinical pearls. Since then Dr. Kat has dedicated her career to elevating private practice optometry and the patients in her community. Optometry was fascinating to me. I am able to create true connections with patients and help their unique situations.

What is your favorite Eyewear Brand?

Definitely Chanel. I have Eyezen Anti-fatigue Lenses in them with Crizal Sapphire Anti-glare coating, Blue Light filter, and Transitions XtraActive Style Mirrors in Pink.

What is your favorite Sunglasses Brand?

Also Chanel. I’m a Chanel girl at heart.

What is your favorite Eyecare Technology at the Practices?

The Pentacam AXL Wave. I’ve been able to design custom contact lenses for patients with compromised corneas and help them see better than they ever have in their lives.

Disneyland! It’s my happiest place on earth
