Medicated eye drops are a different kind of eye drop compared to artificial tears in that they are formulated specifically to stimulate tear production. These require a prescription which can be written after an evaluation of the surface of the eye using our Topcon SL-D2 slit lamp and EyePhotoDoc iPad adapters.
