Advanced All-Laser LASIK

This type of laser eye surgery applies to situations in which there is a need for more custom or advanced techniques.

All-Laser LASIK surgery is a type of surgery that utilizes lasers, specifically an excimer laser to reshape your cornea and correct refractive errors with your eyes. An ophthalmologist cuts a “flap” from the lens of your eye, folding it back to allow the excimer laser to reshape the cornea. Once the cornea is reshaped, the flap is placed back in its original spot and left to heal over a couple of days.

Advanced All-Laser PRK

This surgical method is similar to advanced all-laser LASIK in that it is simply a type of PRK surgery with an ability to be customized. Instead of cutting a flap from your lens, a layer of the lens is completely removed and the excimer laser then reshapes the cornea.

Refractive Lens Exchange

RLE surgery is a procedure that replaces the natural lens of the eye with an artificial intraocular lens for vision correction. This procedure is generally pursued to correct refract errors, but it is also used to correct symptoms of cataracts.

Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICL)

This is another type of lens surgery that adds a lens made of collagen into the eye to correct certain types of vision. This is often pursued as an option to correct problems with myopia or even cataracts.
