Welcome Dr. Atean Asslani, O.D. to Optical Illusions

Optical Illusions: An Optometric Practice is excited to announce an addition to our team, Dr. Atean Asslani, OD as the new Associate Doctor of Optometry at the Santana Row, Hillsdale Shopping Center, and City Center Bishop Ranch practice locations beginning July of 2025.

Dr. Asslani brings a wealth of knowledge to the San Jose, San Mateo, and San Ramon communities. He is a highly skilled optometrist with a commitment to providing personalized eye care to each of his patients. With a warm and compassionate approach, Dr. Asslani ensures that his patients always feel comfortable and well-cared for during every eye exam.

Recently graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in Orange County, Dr. Asslani was formally trained at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Bakersfield, University Eye Center in Los Angeles, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in San Diego, and NVISION Eye Centers in Costa Mesa. He is eager to connect with patients to provide premium services, including Primary Eye Care, Ocular Disease, and Myopia Management.
