Can I use VSP for contact lenses?
Most VSP Signature or VSP Choice Plans incude benefits for contact lens fittings & evaluations and contact lens materials. Our Board-Certfied Eye Doctors will be able to fit or refit in contact lenses based on your prescription and corneal curvature, and our opticians will train you with insertion and removal techniques if you have never worn contact lenses before.
Can I use VSP for glasses and sunglasses?
Most VSP Plans incude benefits for presciption eyeglasses or sunglasses. These plans include an allowance and discounts for frames and optical lenses with copays. Some vision plans have benefits for non-prescription or plano sunglasses as well.
What happens if I go to an out-of-network provider?
